  Automated announcements/emails/feedback. Pre-scheduled posts got off schedule during break, made deadlines confusing. Unclear/contradicting writing requirements. Feedback is copy/pasted instructions from assignment page + does not apply to individual work. Spelling/grammar errors everywhere. Can barely operate Canvas. Kind enough, despite^.

  THE BEST PROFESSOR EVER. She grades assignments generously and if you mess up on an assignment, she will help you through it. Not too many assignments weekly and she even takes late work. Genuinely grateful for professors like her.

  The class itself is not difficult, however Vienna makes it very difficult to complete assignments. Her instructions are extremely unclear and often include several spelling errors. Also, she is not quick to respond to emails. I received an A in the course in the end, however I would suggest taking another professor's course that is organized.

  Professor Vienna splits up the assignments into small assignments, so it is manageble and you get feedback for everything. We had a couple of essays which were both broken down into asignments and then chunked together to form the essay. It makes it easy and enjoyable to write. She will let you fix your papers and help you if you have a problem.

  Prof. Vienna did a fabulous work in her Engl 120!Until this semester I had never been shown how to successfully structure and format a research paper. Thankfully, Prof. Vienna helped me to gain understanding in how to do this by guiding the class through the process of writing a successful research-style paper. Eng 120 is interesting and fun!

  Vienna is the best professor I have taken at Grossmont so far. YOU HAVE TO TAKE HER. I wish I had taken her for both English 120 and English 124. She is so caring and sweet always gives back a comment on your submission and also gives the chance to resubmit something too. This is a ZTB course so that made it even better. Definitely take her course.

  This professor is an amazing person! She made me love writing. The material she provides is rich and beneficial. The assignments are easy to understand. You can also attend her Zoom office hour meetings if you have a question. She is very friendly and supportive. I highly recommend this professor. I am glad that I took her online class!!!

  This professor is a revelation! Unlike a lots of dull professors, she actually teaches critical thinking skills. I love that she incorporates philosophy into English.She is the most understanding and caring professors I have ever known!   This class was difficult none the less; not because of the material, but for lack of structure. She doesn't provide beneficial feedback, and no rubrics whatsoever. She also left the wrong email in the syllabus, and I had no way to contact her throughout the course. I would not recommend her course to anyone.

  I mainly took this professor based off of her excellent ratings on here but I did not have the same experience. Her grading is very specific but she doesn't provide a rubric for her assignments which makes it difficult to understand what you did wrong. And she constantly changes due dates for everything which can be frustrating and confusing.

  This professor was okay, but honestly won't take again. Finals are a tough one and cramps too much at the end of semester. Essays had to be precise and in a specific way. She responds and gives good feedback, but all the work really drains you.

  Dr. Vienna is very respected, and for good reason. She provides great feedback and the course content itself is very interesting. This is my second semester with her as my instructor, I took her previously for ENGL 120 and had such a great experience that I just had to take 124 with her.

  I enjoyed this class personally because of the lessons she taught. She helped us learn more about the world around us and how to understand people. Her assignments were straightforward but also challenging. Despite this, it was beneficial to learn different essay methods and grammar skills.
